NABERS Rating

Introduction of the Building Energy Disclosure Bill in 2010 placed requirements on the owners of office buildings to disclose information on energy efficiency to potential purchasers, tenants or subtenants of office space. This includes mandatory disclosure of the NABERS Energy star rating in all sale or lease advertisements.

While the scheme currently applies to commercial office buildings, it is predicted to expand to retail and other sites in the future. Net Balance has a number of NABERS Accredited professionals who have experience working in the building services field. We offer advisory services in all aspects of management of the built environment including NABERS assessments, implementing data collection and reporting systems, and advising on energy efficiency opportunities.
